£1000 raised for TCCL by local Broughty Group

I had the privilege of meeting this group of young people this afternoon, when they called by to present a cheque for £1000 to TCCL.

Scarlet, 3rd from right in the photograph, and her family were supported by TCCL as she went through her cancer treatment.

Her friends decided to raise money for TCCL and did this by doing a sponsored head shave and also took part in an inflatable fun run.  Between them all, through these two events, they raised this amazing total of £1000.

We are glad to see that Scarlet is now much better and we are delighted that we were able to offer support when it was needed most.

There were 3 missing from the group, but we as a charity would like to say thanks to all of them for their efforts and it was my pleasure to meet with you all today.
