TCCL Puppet Donation

Vardhini Rajagopal works as a Mental Health Engagement Worker at Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action (DVVA). She currently coordinates the Dundee Healthy Minds Network.

This is a network for people with lived experience of mental illness, which allows them to come together, engage and voice their opinions to influence strategic decisions pertaining to mental health.

The Network members made 50 handmade puppets (super heroes, animals, monsters) for donation and they were eager to donate them to TCCL to show their support towards our cause.

We plan to use some of these puppets at our TCCL Lodge in St Andrews, whilst the remainder will be used as giveaways during the coming year to the children that we support.

TCCL chairman, John Walker, went along to meet the group on Thu 12th May in Dundee, to accept the puppets and to give a talk on the work of the charity.
