Frances Menter’s New Year Dook for TCCL

Our TCCL supporter Frances Menter took part in the traditional New Year Dook at Broughty Ferry harbour. After doing ‘The Dook’ solo in the recent lockdown years she donned her tiara and  TCCL T-shirt to join a few hundred like minded souls on a clear but cold New Year’s Day.

We are proud to say that Frances has raised a remarkable sum of £1060 for TCCL to help with our charitable activities within the local area. Frances was a guidance teacher at Perth High School who supported Gavin Russell a pupil who lost his fight to bone cancer in September 2021. Her astounding effort is done in his memory.

The TCCL committee thank Frances for her achievement.
